Paramount Pictures has released online the new official trailer of Sonic 3, the latest chapter in the film saga that will mark the debut on the big screen of the deadly Shadow, voiced for the occasion by none other than Keanu Reeves. The film will be set immediately after the events of Sonic 2 and the Knuckles miniseries and will see Team Sonic forced to confront not only reborn opponents but also a new formidable enemy full of abilities. Sonic returns to the cinema, with an even more surprising adventure. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails find themselves having to face a new and formidable enemy: Shadow, a mysterious villain with incredible powers never seen before. With their abilities tested in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unexpected ally to stop Shadow and protect the planet. Jeff Fowler returns to direct, leading an all-star cast that includes Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub, and newcomers Alyla Browne and Krysten Ritter.
The film’s producers include Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno, while Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, Yukio Sugino, Fowler, Tommy Gormley, and Tim Miller serve as executive producers. Produced by Paramount Pictures, Original Film, SEGA Sammy, Blur Studi,o and Marza Animation Planet, and distributed in our country by Eagle Pictures, Sonic 3 will arrive in Italian cinemas on January 1, 2025.
