After Mickey 17, the star will join the cast of one of the most anticipated titles of the next two years. Certain loves and their turns… Robert Pattinson has yet to hit theaters with the highly anticipated sci-fi Mickey 17, but he is already ready to look forward and - just like in Tenet - at the same time to the past: it has in fact been reported that the actor is the latest of the big stars in chronological order to have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's new film.

Arriving in theaters in 2026, the new title by the Oscar-winning director will be able to count on names of the caliber of Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, and even Zendaya, who are now joined by another old acquaintance of the director, namely Robert Pattinson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 1986-born actor has joined the cast of Nolan's A-listers, reuniting with the director four years after the ill-fated Tenet, a sci-fi thriller released during a pandemic.

The number of old faces that the Oscar winner wanted with him thus rises to three: Pattinson joins Matt Damon, recently seen in Oppenheimer but also in Interstellar, and Anne Hathaway, Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in the third film of the Dark Knight trilogy. However, no details have yet been released regarding the title and plot. Christopher Nolan's next film is still shrouded in total mystery, so much so that rumors range from a vampire thriller to an action movie.

The three mentioned plus Tom Holland should be the protagonists, while Oscar winner Nyong'o and Zendaya should play secondary roles. Christopher Nolan is producing the film with his wife and colleague Emma Thomas with Syncopy and filming is scheduled for 2025. Robert Pattinson is instead expected in theaters with Mickey 17, the new sci-fi film by Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) in which he will play an unfortunate space worker who keeps dying. The release date for the new film by the Oppenheimer director is set for July 17, 2026.
