Ezio Greggio accompanies us in spirit to comment on the latest rumors about the Marvel film coming out in July 2025. To read the thermometer of the hype around a Marvel film, just evaluate the absolute secrecy level surrounding the film. If in the case of the trailer for Captain America: Brave New World everything is very declared and little left to surprise, the same cannot be said for the filming in progress of Fantastic Four, coming to theaters next July. A video from the set, in fact, shows a mysterious figure and the fans have obviously already gone wild.
A few seconds, but they are enough to drive the internet crazy. Stationed a short distance from the entrance to the studios, some fans or paparazzi have in fact immortalized a person escorted inside the building, however, covered by a jacket. The meaning is clear: it must not be known that someone will be in the film. But who could it be? Very few clues: judging by the clothing, it would seem a man, the physique is lean and athletic,c and… stop.

Many immediately bet on Robert Downey Jr., who as rumored should appear in the film as Doctor Doom and then return in Avengers: Doomsday, but the clothing does not seem to match his style. Judging by the physique and those tight jeans, it would be more likely a Chris Evans, even if it would not make much sense despite his recent return in Deadpool & Wolverine as the Human Torch. Another hypothesis is the one that leads to the name of Franklin Richards. He is not an actor, but a Marvel character, son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm, who according to very recent rumors could be the perfect link between the Fantastic Four film and the Avengers.
As known, Pedro Pascal and the rest of the cast will be the protagonists of a film set in the 60s and will therefore need to be taken around in time and between realities. And who better than Franklin, who can travel across universes? The character is one of the most powerful in the Marvel universe, so much so that he has often been sidelined because he was too narratively cumbersome to handle. Is there an actor chosen to play him under that jacket? Is the mysterious figure such a famous actor? We can only wait, but the excitement and curiosity are skyrocketing.
Fantastic 4: First Steps, remember, will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
