A new lineup video for HBO's streaming service "Max" has been released, with notable titles such as "The Penguin" and "Dune: Prophecy" appearing one after another. In the second half, dramas to be released in 2025 are introduced, and at the end (around 1 minute 17 seconds), a teaser video for "The Last of Us" season 2 is unveiled. The video begins with a scene in which a new character played by Catherine O'Hara appears and asks Joel (Pedro Pascal) "Did you hurt her?" and "What did you do?" Afterward, tense scenes of each character appear, including Ellie (Bella Ramsey) screaming, Tommy (Gabriel Luna) firing a gun in a blizzard, Dina (Isabela Merced) crying, and Isaac (Jeffrey Wright) pointing a gun.
It seems like we can get a glimpse of the new horrors that await. In the end, Joel reappears and answers the question at the beginning by saying, "I saved her." A single tear runs down his cheek, and the video ends. In addition to this work, other works to be released in 2025 include the prequel drama "Welcome to Delhi" to "IT," the new Game of Thrones spinoff "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," and the new Thailand-set "White Lotus" season 3. We're just excited about these fascinating works.
The Last of Us tells the story of the dangerous journey of Joel, one of the survivors, and Ellie, a girl with an antibody to the parasitic bacteria, in a world where civilization has collapsed due to an infection outbreak of a parasitic bacteria. Season 1 (9 episodes in total), based on the first game, was an explosive hit and ended in January 2023 with the highest audience ratings of the series. Season 2, based on the second game, The Last of Us Part II, is scheduled to be broadcast and distributed on HBO and Max in the United States in 2025.
